Lotus Grand Hotel

The room was nice enough, though not a four star hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. There is a club that starts playing music (loud drums) at 11:00PM and did not stop until 4:30AM. I was several stories away from the club but it still kept me up for a long time. The hotel staff did not care when I voiced frustration.

Staff was good

The airconditioning didn't seem to work right or it was set too low, i was sweating in the room for the most part even the air was on. I complained and and they touched it to no vail. Plus i asked for water for two hours it never came.

Best location for shopping

Its excellent ambiance and perfect location in the heart of Dubai

The room that was assigned to me had a dirty bathroom, the lights kept flickering and the highlight of my night was being woken up by my ground shaking from how loud the music was in the clubs downstairs. I would not suggest this club to any one that works a 9-5 or is in town for an event.

The room is quite big, with a comfy bed. Staff is great.

But the room was not very clean when we arrived. There is dust all over the cabinets and there are trash on the bathroom sink. No toothbrush and slippers in the room, we had to call for it.

Modern touch to the room and in room amenities giving a great feel

Wifi connection was so poor and housekeeping never came to connect the beds after getting twin beds despite selecting one queen size bed.

Checking In:Jony was accomodating and friendly. The person behind the desk, friendly but was kind of being a jerk. Giving me the key card, I confirmed if it was a smoking room. He said it wasnt. Reminded him I requested it when I was making the booking. He said I didnt. I repeatedly told him I did. Kept on gaslighting me. For context, when making the booking, the app would ask bed preferences and room. And before confirming, there is a summary of those preferences. Eventually he conceded and gave me a smoking room.Room:I understand the existence of restobars in the hotel and that it can really get noisy. Of course, I dont want to complain when people are enjoying the evening so it makes more sense to focus on soundproofing the room better. But really, the revelry wasnt much of a bother (compared to my noisy housemates) and I was able to get some sleep.Wifi:Saw the low ratings for the wifi and thought to myself, well maybe they have fixed it already. Turns out, the ratings were corrrect. Experienced intermittent wifi connection. Had to switch back and forth the two networks and praying one will connect.Cleanliness:I am not expecting brand new furniture or even something that feels instagrammable, but the hotel can be more clean and more tidy even if it has seen many occupants.I've seen cobwebs around the corners. The shower door can use a little more WD40 so that it could slide more easily. Housekeeping can improve on their bed making skills.Room Amenities:I didnt bother to ask for more.Breakfast Buffet:Note: I did not take the with bfast option so I just paid on the spot. Not a 'wow' spread but for the price, it's fair. Plus, the staff were nice there so I guess thats ok.Checking Out:They gave me few extra minutes after 12nn. Thats always a nice gesture.Yet, its the same guy again who was stationed at the front desk. This time, he kept on insisting I partook on the big water bottles that were charged at 3aed.

The hotel is near to restaurants and and supermarkets and walking distance to the mall which is convenient if we tourists would need anything.The hotel is good enough for sleeping, nothing else.

You can hear the next door neighbors through the thin walls and door; also the staff could be abit more accommodating when we are requesting for anything

Reception phone never answered in one time , room wasn't clean when arrived, room condition very poor , not worth for money.

Room 313 bathroom door not closed lock not working and shower door is also very hard and make souch light button not working interior is full off dust shower water draining pipe also blocked not only one issue total waste of money ?

Fix everything in the room to much lond sound coming in the vip spa centre

Well the break fast was not up to the mark.Staff in the kitchen side were very nice.

Apart from location nothing was good. Receptionist staff was rude with no smile.

I would not book this hotel again there was disco music playing until 4am and I was suppose to wakeup 4:30am for my flight

Too much noise on the hotel whole night

Location is good

1st of all i asked for the extension of my stay but they told me double the price and then i requested them if i can keep my luggage for 2-3 hours but they refused that was not happened when i stayed at the location during my last visit.There was too much noise coming in the room at late night probabbly because fo the club downstairs.

First and foremost thing is they given Wheelchair room and bathroom was too worse. Secondly they cancelled the booking without prior notice which was too difficult to manage and waited 7 Hrs in lobby area. Services was too slow and wifi was very poor. I always preffer booking.com but now seem slike I have to stop surfing on booking.com

Only thing I liked is, Front desk and all staff members especially the Nepali brothers and one house keeping staff from Myanmar.

Nothing good about this hotel. Room Smelly, Air Conditioner make huge noise. Bathroom smelly and shabby. Room carpet worst, dusty, dirty. Furniture and fixture more than old, rotten and so muchhhhh. Bad bad bad. Don't book this hotel for cheap price. You shall regret.

The room was different from the picture I booked and it was very noisy so I couldn't rest well.

place is full of markets, festivals and restaurants. I strongly advise those who want to shop or walk because the place is full of markets, restaurants and the most beautiful thing is that you do not need a car, only on foot, everything around you and close to you, international brands, for example, Nike, Adidas, Out Ltd and almost three festivals with games, restaurants, clothes and many more

I think it's not suitable for families because of the night discos and the inconvenience caused by the songs above your head ?.

The breakfast was excellent, they made my usual eggs on time and the waiters were so nice. Imran made sure I have my breakfast packed since I had a morning flight.that was soo thoughtful. They offered me a rose on my birthday.

They should fix the elevator sometimes it is shaky, the wifi is sometimes slow at night.

Only 1 pc. towel provided at the room. Loud noises/music coming from outside.
